Please read these terms carefully and agree to them before using the EventWatch web service (hereinafter referred to as "the Service").

Article 1 (Application of Terms)

These terms apply to all users of the web service provided by EventWatch (including viewers, event organizers, and information providers, hereinafter referred to as "Users").

Article 2 (Purpose of the Service)

The purpose of this Service is to collect event information on the internet, appropriately categorize it, and deliver it to interested users, as well as to allow event organizers and information providers to announce event information.

Article 3 (User Responsibility)

  • Users shall use the Service at their own responsibility and make their own judgments regarding the accuracy and usefulness of the posted information.
  • Event organizers and information providers who post event information shall bear full responsibility for all matters concerning the accuracy, legality, and absence of rights infringement of the posted content.

Article 4 (Event Posting)

  • Event organizers and information providers can post events using their registered EventWatch accounts.
  • Posted events are published after EventWatch has reviewed their content. Until the review is complete, they do not appear on the public pages. If the review finds that the content needs to be corrected, the event may be sent back to the poster.
  • The display name of the organization registered by the poster is published as the organizer of the posted event. Please do not register a name you do not want to be made public.
  • If the content posted by organizers and information providers contains false or misleading information, or content that violates laws or public order and morals, EventWatch may suspend or delete the posting without prior notice.

Article 5 (Information Acquisition by Crawling)

EventWatch acquires event information published on the internet through crawling and publishes it on the Service. If there are issues with information acquired through crawling, we will respond appropriately upon notification from rights holders.

Article 6 (Fees and Payment)

Some features of the Service, such as event posting, may incur fees. Fees and payment methods will be specified separately.

  • Copyrights in the event information posted by event organizers and information providers (text, images, and the like; hereinafter "Posted Content") belong to the poster or to third parties who have legitimate rights. EventWatch does not acquire them.
  • The poster grants EventWatch a free-of-charge license to publish the Posted Content on the Service, to display it in listings and search results, and to reproduce, publicly transmit, and adapt its presentation to the extent necessary for those purposes. This license is non-exclusive and ends prospectively once the publication of that Posted Content is suspended or deleted.
  • The poster represents and warrants that they hold the rights necessary to grant the license described in the preceding paragraph. If a dispute arises because Posted Content infringes the rights of a third party, the poster shall resolve it at their own responsibility and expense.
